If you are a home or business owner who has suffered damage & filed an insurance claim (wind, hail, fire, fallen-tree, etc.) you may have noticed yourself, or through the knowledge of your roofing contractor(s), that the assessment and payment by the insurance company is not enough to rebuild back to a pre-loss condition, or possibly has been limited to a portion of the roof rather than the whole roof as your roofer(s) suggested.

This can and does happen all the time, generally speaking you have not been singled out, but the insurance company has made it clear that they either will not provide additional payment or they are requiring a host of additional documentation, building code support, manufacturer support, 3rd party measuring, and/or an excruciatingly detailed estimate, all of which are only available to insurance industry insiders.
